Meet the Founder
An interior designer and stylist, home and nature lover, a doting mother and successful entrepreneur all rolled into one, Apoorva Chandru is an architect and the founder of Nilayaa. Apoorva believes that a home should always reflect the unique personality of the owner and this philosophy is seen in Nilayaa too. A perfect balance of form and function, Aporva’s homes exude class, creativity and character that reflect not only her refined taste and sensibilities but also her deep love for fine art and design.

Nilayaa is Apoorva’s dream project created with a vision of making luxury and designer homes accessible to all. A boutique brand that focuses on products that have their own story, she aims to bring niche, thoughtfully curated home décor products to customers. She believes in the concept of slow living and nature and Nilayaa is an extension of this ethos. Styling these products and creating bespoke nooks for specific spaces so that customers can just ‘shop the look’ and have it delivered in a box to your doorstep is the main USP of Nilayaa. Thoughtfully designed, most products at Nilayaa are inspired by Apoorva’s own home, her garden, and her inherent love for nature.
